RED ARROW HIGHWAY – BRIDGMAN TO BROWNTOWN

The Berrien County Road Department in conjunction with the Michigan Department of Transportation has suspended work on Red Arrow Highway until early spring 2019. Red Arrow Highway has had the first of two layers of new asphalt placed over the entire existing roadway. Minor alterations have been made to the drives and transition to allow for safe motor vehicle and winter operations. The roadway will be stripped and all four lanes open for the winter months. After meeting with the Contractor it was determine that temperatures will not be warm enough to permit asphalt operations. Berrien County Road Department will monitor the roadway conditions throughout the winter months to ensure safe travel lanes are maintained. Thank you for your patience.
